Hi neighbors, The Mueller book club is about 1 year old now and we just selected our books for the next 6 months. Federal Stimulus Bill

I can only offer a bit on the transportation side, which is just a part of the whole picture. Basically, the transportation funding will be routed along similar lines to regular federal funding, following the same rules (projects are in agency plans, follow the National Environmental Policy Act, etc.)The main portion of the funding will be allocated to TxDOT (see queeneliz1 above). Capital Metro and the Capital Area Rural Transit System (CARTS) will be given the transit funding. Capital Metro outlines plans for its $26M , which includes funding of . The Transportation Policy Board is allocating the remainder of our region's transportation funding to allocate, and is accepting public comments on a 'master stimulus list' of transportation projects that have been submitted by jurisdictions.
