It’s simply wonderfully open-handed with you to deliver unreservedly just what most people might have marketed as an electronic book to earn some dough for their own end, mostly considering the fact that you could have tried it if you considered necessary. These smart ideas also worked as a good way to be certain that other people online have a similar interest really like my personal own to know the truth way more on the subject of this condition. Are Crop Circles Hoaxes Or Other Worldy Phenomena?
posted by Digital Zone on July 24th, 2021 6:35 AM
Crop circles gripped the imagination, attention and interest of the world since the first circular formations discovered in the 1960's. The scientific association, the media, and the New Age believers almost always showed some interest in the appearance of new crop formations. The M. Night Shyamalan movie Signs, which starred Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix, and a great many other fictional works used crop formations as a principal feature in their subject matter. A crop circle design is created when a field of rapeseed, rye, wheat, corn or barley is flattened into what usually appears to be always a pattern of circles and/or several other geometric shape. The earliest field formations contains simple circles, but the designs generally evolved into more and more complex patterns since, with some designs becoming a highly involved triple Julia set as well as with some formations exhibiting three-dimensional qualities. The patterns within buy sacred geometry can often be within crop formations. Serious investigators of the crop formation phenomenon, regardless of how basic or involved the patterns are, often wonder whether they're the result of simply being man-made (most likely), an aftereffect of freakish weather, or something of otherworldly or paranormal in origin. The History of the Crop Circles Records of crop circle formations date back in terms of the 1880's in England. In accordance with these early records, crop circles were thought to be caused by freak storms that created round impressions in the cultivated fields. There has been little interest in crop formations and little discussing them until almost a century later. Crop formations again attracted more interest in the press when more sightings were reported in the 1960's. Crop designs did not just can be found in England, they also occurred in many places all across the planet such as in Australia, Canada, China, Japan, and Russia. Areas and locations considered to be ancient, sacred and holy were often near the formations of crop circles. Most crop circles were discovered in the southern percentage of England, mostly in your community of Wiltshire County. Multiple explanations were created regarding the forming of crop circles. One theory stated that crop formations were the aftereffect of strange weather such as whirlwinds and tornadoes. Another concept joined or linked crop circles to disc-shaped UFO's and otherworldly beings such as aliens. hooded blankets The mystery behind all the crop formation phenomena was destroyed when two pranksters by the name of Dave Chorley and Doug Bower claimed to have created all the crop circles in Wiltshire County themselves using planks, rope and other locally found tools under cover of the darkest hours of the night. Some Crop Formations Still Defy Explanation After the time that Dave Chorley and Doug Bower came forward claiming they created the crop circles that appeared on the fields of Wiltshire County, later research revealed that eighty per-cent of all documented crop formations are of human origin. However, a twenty per-cent of carefully recorded and researched crop formations had no indication to be produced by human hands and therefore still had no "earthly" explanation. What then could possibly be inducing the unexplained twenty per-cent? Many paranormal researchers and scientists were forced to conclude that the rest of the unexplained group of crop formations had to have other explanations because of their occurrences. Experts chosen the creation of "cereology" as a critical area of research to help solve the situation of discovering the actual truth behind the formation of the very genuine field designs. Crop Formations That Are Well-Known The next are a few highlights of varied significant circular formations that appeared after the 1960's: * The solar system formation, discovered in Longwood Warren, Hampshire, UK. With a similarity to the planets of the inner solar system and an obvious absence of the planet Earth, this formation attracted much interest to scholars and scientists alike. * The dumbbell formation, first discovered in Chilcomb Farm in UK. Assumed to be the very first of the dumbbell formations, where two circles were connected by way of a line and flanked with two rectangles at each side. Formed in 1990. * The Barbury Castle tetrahedron. Barbury Castle is just a Neolithic fort in the United Kingdom. Because it depicted one of the sacred hermetic symbols, the symbol of the Trinity, it had been considered highly significant. This tetrahedron design appeared in the fields near Barbury Castle in 1991. * The "Tree of Life" formation. Another Barbury Castle configuration that appeared in May of 1997. Crop Formations and Sacred Geometry There is an obvious connection between crop formations and 3d sacred geometry. Sacred geometry can be an aspect of geometry for the goal of communicating an eternal truth, expanding consciousness and spiritual awareness. There is also a sense of balance, centeredness and well-being that comes from the sheer beauty and elegance of the sacred geometry often found in the look of a plant formation. Sacred geometry carries its meaning and message whether it be produced by extraterrestrial artists from an increased realm, or as in the vast majority of cases, simply stomped-out by Earth-bound human designers. Many spiritual jewelry designs derive from crop circles or on sacred symbols often within crop circle formations.

The tanginess involved is the critical tempting aspect in the numerous chaat objects you will constantly come across roadside stalls crowded with people, all getting chaat! A lot of a sweets store also sell chaat prepared the hygienic way so drawing more consumers in contrast to roadside stalls. Very few of the preferred chaat products involve dahi bhalla, paneer masala chilla, aloo tikki, kachori with sabji, paneer tikka, raj kachori, bhalla papri, lachha tokri, pani puri, bhel puri, matar kulcha, pao bhaji, and papri chaat. Most of these things are prepared from flour dough with a blend of many other ingredients these kinds of as potato items, crispy fried bread, gram or chickpeas, tangy-salty spices, chilly and tamarind sauce. Every chaat merchandise is served in a plate garnished with yogurt, fresh new green coriander leaves, and more except the pani puri. Aloo tikki is a bit various wherein boiled potatoes are smashed and designed into tiny doughs and then fried in butter. When it is accommodated in a plate, it is garnished with yogurt, onion, spices, and coriander. David Weekly grouting problem
posted by dhs on May 5th, 2016 3:49 PM
(reposted from nextdoor, just in case) I'm having some tiling work done in my house and encountered a problem. I live in a Weekley home, and it appears as though they did not use the grouting that was specified by their homeowner transaction summary (which the salesperson assured me was absolutely reliable). That document specifies Custom #122 Linen, but the 25 pound bag of grout that they left behind in the laundry cabinet is a different color - Texrite #128 Golden Beryl. It seems like the floor tiler just used what he had on the truck that day, and left the remaining 23 or so pounds for me to dump in the landfill (grout goes bad after a year or so.) Anybody else notice this? Weekley cut many corners in building my house elsewhere, but this seems like a small thing to get right, especially since they sell the Custom #122 grout at Home Depot, in a much smaller bag to boot. So can any of you who still have your homeowner summary and the leftover grout check to see if they match? You might want to make a note of the grout color that was actually used, so you can match it later, if need be. Thanks, Doug
Grande in Mueller? Google Fiber? Bueller?

I checked with Grande, and finally was able to verify that they are servicing parts of 78723, including Mueller, but not most (all?) of the older construction. The person I talked to didn't indicate when/if they might extend their service.I too hate TW, but right now there aren't any real alternatives. AT&T/SWB and TW have a duopoly, and price their "services" accordingly. And Google is years away, apparently.I would like to believe that Catellus/City of Austin would have built out the infrastructure in a way that would have made it easy to add new service providers, but apparently not. We certainly hit all the right demographic buttons to justify Grande/Google providing full service to Mueller.Doug

The muelleraustin.com site now shows Grande as a telecom provider in Mueller, and a recent story in the Stateman (reprinted here: http://www.govtech.com/dc/articles/Austins-Google-Fiber-Rollout-Advancing-Despite-Obstacles.html) says so too. But Grande's website doesn't indicate I can get service (phase II) - anybody have it? The same article indicates that Google Fiber may not be here for a while. I think the same company that's doing the Mopac toll lane is building Google's infrastructure. Sure would like to dump Time Warner - recently their "service" drops out for several seconds to a few minutes many times a day. True on all my devices, even my work laptop that uses a VPN, so it's not a DNS issue or Netflix throttling. Doug

Has anyone installed a solar screen on your front porch, as opposed to window screens? I'm thinking of doing that instead, since it would also filter the light on my porch from the street light as well. I've seen a number of them installed throughout Mueller (and one enterprising homeowner who simply spray-painted the street light), and would like to get feedback on how well they work to block the light/heat, durability of different materials, installation tips/pitfalls, (what kind of spray paint to use ;-)), etc. Thanks,Doug

Doug/Nikkie- Appreciate your clarification. Voters will be the ones that make final decision to fund or not fund the project. This vote will occur in November as I understand it.The CCAG will make a route and phasing recommendation to City Council. I believe that City Council will have final say as to exactly what goes on to the Urban Rail Bond. For the most part the discussion at this point is around phasing (either to do the entire route or some subset) and other specifics of implementation, the route itself is pretty well baked at this point. The most critical item as it relates to us is the connection around Hancock and under the redline. How or if they choose to do this will likely have an impact on how a future connection to Mueller might occur. If anyone would like to get more involved feel free to PM me, we are at the very tail end of the pre election planning process.

That's what the HOA says. Here's what the FCC says:Q: What types of restrictions unreasonably delay or prevent viewers from using an antenna? Can an antenna user be required to obtain prior approval before installing his antenna?A: A local restriction that prohibits all antennas would prevent viewers from receiving signals, and is prohibited by the Commission's rule. Procedural requirements can also unreasonably delay installation, maintenance or use of an antenna covered by this rule. For example, local rules or regulations that require a person to obtain a permit or approval prior to installation create unreasonable delay and are generally prohibited. Permits or prior approval necessary to serve a legitimate written safety or historic preservation purpose may be permissible. Although a simple notification process (e.g. post installation) might be permissible, such a process cannot be used as a prior approval requirement and may not delay or increase the cost of installation. The burden is on the association to show that a notification process does not violate our rule.More here: http://www.fcc.gov/guides/over-air-reception-devices-ruleAs I said, it would be nice to notify the HOA, but you don't need to, and you certainly don't need their approval, prior or otherwise. You may need to defend your choice of location as being necessary for proper local reception.Doug

Putting an antenna inside one of our attics probably will only work if you have a window facing the direction of the Westlake Hills antenna farm - about 290 degrees. The roof shingles and the insulation used in our houses usually contain metal, which will block the (mostly) UHF TV signals. In your (icemonkeyharvest) house, you might be able to put an antenna in the upper attic pointed through the eaves above your west facing bedroom. I'd try that, because it's much easier than mounting an external antenna. Speaking of external antennas, you do not need to ask the HOA's permission due to the FCC OTARD (Over The Air Reception Device) rules, which allow you to mount an antenna for local reception without permission from HOAs or even local/state gov't. I think you have to notify the HOA, however.I agree about the Roku 3 - great device. Between Netflix, Amazon Prime and the free stuff on the Roku, I don't miss cable, and really don't watch much OTA stuff - news, some PBS and the (diminishing) sports programming on free TV. The only shortcoming of the Roku 3 for me is the lack of a real uPnP/DLNA player/renderer. And if I cared about current network programming, I'd get a Hulu subscription and/or a DVCR.Doug

And what kind of reception do you get for PBS (see below)?I have a decent multi-element UHF antenna pointed out my front pseudo-dormer second story window directly at the TV antenna farm in Westlake Hills, and still get poor reception of PBS and the CW channel (KNVA). Since I get occasional drop outs on channels with high signal strength, I'm wondering if it's my TV tuner. Thanks,Doug

Why only TWC and AT&T as ISPs?

Thanks, Doug. It's the same game over-and-over. Sure there are "No new taxes"; there are toll roads (hidden "taxes"). The cost of the internet lines is being passed on to the consumer too (as another hidden "tax", by the ISPs). It doesn't matter which political party is in power, someone is going to pay for these items, one way or the other. I agree that these items should be treated as "utilities" but if the government doesn't set up these utilities then the oligopolies will, and they did. And the oligopolies are going to make sure that newcomers' entry into their game is as tough as possible.

Read this: http://beta.slashdot.org/story/200409 The bottom line is that until/unless a city or a neighborhood is willing/able to build the infrastructure for broadband wired communications, that function will be provided by private oligopolies that will use whatever political, legal or financial leverage they have to remain as oligopolies.Doug

You may not want to hold your breath for Google Fiber coming to Mueller soon, if this map is accurate: https://mapsengine.google.com/map/edit?mid=zKGIh6VixM7Q.kpvawAIdVCMA It looks like Google is coming to South Austin first, and it may be awhile if they haven't even pulled permits yet for East Austin.Doug
Berkman traffic level/noise?

This is one of the affordable units, and as far as I've been able to determine, the builder allows absolutely no upgrades. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

If noise is a concern, you might want to check with the builder to see if you can upgrade your windows. Using thicker glass and/or tempered glass and/or laminated glass will each reduce sound transmission.Doug
