hi! My daughter is moving back home after a stay with her father. She is a Junior in High School and I am wondering how things are going at McCallum? She is very nervous but is looking forward to moving here. Any advice? Thanks, Melissa

And if you're talking Latin, the respective nominative case forms would be Primus and Secundus. (Though, given that the Camacho for whom the street is named is a woman, the words should perhaps take their feminine form, Prima and Secunda.)dwhall,I think (and certainly hope) the original post was meant to be tongue in cheek. As late Phase I pioneers, Melissa and I feel very welcomed by all the earlier-arriving pioneers we have met and are looking forward to new friends arriving in Phase II and beyond. As for our Phase I stretch of Tom Miller Street, I'm trying to decide between "Tom Miller: A New Hope" and "Tom Miller: The Phantom Menace." It's hard to figure out which one should be regarded as "the first."

That's awesome news, Melissa! Hope your closing and move go smoothly. Looking forward to meeting you when I move there in October. Or maybe at one of the "girls night out" events.

We've both been posting here for a while, but we are finally scheduled to actually close on our house next week, so we figured it was time to make our formal introduction.Melissa is a customer service supervisor for Lone Star Overnight. Her son is in the Army, and her daughter is in high school. As you can tell from her posts, she is mildly enthusiastic about our new house and living in Mueller.I'm a lawyer with Yetter, Warden & Coleman, a litigation boutique focusing on business and technology litigation. (Is it just me, or are there lots of lawyers moving into Mueller?!) Most of my practice is in complex commercial appeals, with the occasional case involving constitutional or political issues, in state and federal courts. Our dog Bosco and cat Boots are finally going to have to learn to get along together under the same roof.Melissa and I both grew up in different parts of Texas but have lived in Austin enough years to call it home. We are excited to be making Mueller our permanent home and looking forward to getting to know you all better!

What Melissa didn't know is that I already picked up some cookies and brownies for us to bring. I can also rustle up a little wine and beer (but not a keg's worth, so others should feel free to bring more!). Hope the weather holds. We look forward to meeting many more of our soon-to-be neighbors!
