Katy, we definitely care about our community and surrounding areas. Mike is calling us out, not ony here, but elsewhere as well. He's usually right about transportation issues and I must admit that building a community from the airport up will have a few imperfections, but at least give us the chance to get out of community toddlerdom before calling us a .What else would you put on the I-35 cooridor that Mueller butts up against? A Home Depot and a Best Buy on I-35? I can really see how un-urban that is.As far as the name calling, first Mike post on This is just the past couple of weeks. I've been experincing Mike's rant for over a year now. It gets old, but I try to wade through the crud to get to the meat. He's calling us out on not being anything yet, we're only less than a year into being in existance. Apparently this community has to be a world class sprinter before we can walk, evidence by his view that we have to be like Hyde Park or else we're crap. Yeah, the Hyde Park that was founded in 1891 and sold as "".

Hey Katy,Definitely NO feather ruffling going on here. This forum is for 100% open to everyone. At the end of the day the Mueller Neighborhood Association (and similar committees) will have to make and vote for their own rules, bylaws, and etc. by themselves. However, it is my sincere hope that people in all neighboring communities can weigh in as vocally as possible to shed light on how Mueller decisions will affect their lives too.

Katy,We value your input as we would any resident. Mueller simply would not exist as it is currently planned without the cooperation and determination of our surrounding neighborhoods. Welcome. In other words, it is the Mueller COMMUNITY and not the MUELLER community. Dusty

I hope that I am not overstepping, but I am a resident of the JJ Seabrook neighborhood and thought I would introduce myself to all my new neightbors. I live on Palo Pinto Drive, across the street from the south east corner of the development by the lakes. I am a stay at home mom and artist, and my husband Chris is in fine wine sales, working with Whole Foods on a regional basis. We have a six month old daughter Josephine.I hope I am not ruffling feathers or crashing the party by joining up with you all here online. I would like to keep track of all the new things that are happening to the neighborhood and hope that you all won't mind if I contribute my 2 cents every once in a while! Thanks,Katy David
