Boomer's Chili Cook-Off Winner's!!!
posted by Kathleen Malcom on May 2nd, 2010 8:07 PM
I am thrilled to announce the winners of the first annual Mueller Boomer Chili Cook-off! First Place went to: Tommy Skaggs. Second Place went to Laura Spoor who brought a Oaxaca mole chili and dressed in clothes from Oaxaca. Third place went to: Keith Romel, and honorable mention with an original Cincinnati chili that was served over spaghetti was Jim & Denise Mead.
The Boomer’s also enjoyed Art’s homemade wine, and still found room for apple pie ala mode. Big thanks to the Nieto’s for hosting the event. *** Photo attached here and more photos will be posted on Jerry Perkin’s Facebook.***

Set is in excellent condition. Our row house does not have space for it. Measures 42" in diameter x 29" tall. Table base is metal and with glass top. Chairs are metal with black fabric seats. We are selling for $175. Offering to neighbors before putting up on Craigslist. PM if interested in seeing it.
Thanks,

Jim & Denise,My wife Meg and I are both from Ohio -- she grew up in Cleveland, I grew up in southern Ohio, and we both went to Miami University in Oxford. My dad was a professor at Ohio State, so the Buckeyes paid the bills for 18 years, but now the Longhorns do, so I can't claim (publicly) to be a fan. Welcome!- Austin (Zach Scott)

Welcome Jim and Denise. Diane and I are also empty nesters. We've been here two years and love it. We're at 4012 Camacho Street -- that's the part of Camacho closest to Airport and Antone -- stop by and say hello anytime. And no, there aren't any Buckeye fans in these parts - :)Bobby
