Cupcake and Water Stand!
Mattie between Scales and ZC. Now until we run out. Cupcakes and cold water while it lasts. My daughter's school's student fundraiser, the Bobcat Fun Run, is in full swing and asking her how she would like to raise funds, this was her id...

Why only TWC and AT&T as ISPs?
4200 Mattie, but install has been pushed since there was apparently something mis-spliced in the neared fiber box.

Why only TWC and AT&T as ISPs?
Yup exactly, it wouldn't add more ads but "enrich" the data, akin to how once you search for "ethically-sourced diamonds" in Google, every ad on every page for is for the same "ethical jewelry" store. If everyone in Austin is looking up coll...

What do you think of Blanton?
Everyone say no!Kidding. My oldest is waitlisted for dual-language K at Blanton (rcvd letter). We've had her in dual language preschool for awhile, so really hoping to continue on that track. We were told by Blanton that they wanted 3 K class...

Why only TWC and AT&T as ISPs?
AT&T generally haven't required contracts (been with their DSL service in South Austin before moving to Mueller in 2010, U-Verse since. Dealt enough with Roadrunner in the years before that). My understanding/assumption is they're giving a t...

Traffic Light at Airport and Zach Scott - Blinking Yellow?
The ZC left onto Airport SB is a blinking yellow because traffic coming from Schieffer right onto Airport SB has the right of way. It's the equiv of a green ball as a green arrow would indicate that Schieffer has a red.

Work Session notes Dec 16, 2013
Betsy,With the irrigation, would it be fair to assume that may not include the ROW trees along the Market District? They were running on Saturday, which could mean either something is wrong, it was a last watering, or different schedule for...

Pecan Street NEST Thermostats?
For the sake of anyone who stumbles upon this, after checking back in with Pecan Street since I hadn't heard anything in many months, they have no plans to deploy Nests in Mueller now.

misaddressed voter reg card
My two cents, if you don't hear from him soon, I'd send it back to the Voter Registrar with a note that no one by that name lives at that address.

Transportation Committee meeting notes
For what it is worth, if I recall correctly, both ZS/Airport and Mueller/51st have the infrastructure for the lights (cables underground, loops in the pavement). It's always been a matter of when traffic counts told the engineers that they ...

New Retail at Mueller - What's Happening?
Related to car dependence, I am surprised by how little bike parking is available in the retail/medical areas. I took my daughter to an appointment at the pediatric clinic (corner of Barbara Jordan/Lancaster) and had to park/lock across the...

I concur that I'm not concerned about inconsistency. Hell, Cesar Chavez downtown wasn't consistently one way or two way until relatively recently. The signs that currently exist for the alley (do not enter, one way) are meant to be read. If...

I forgot to think of the poor sprinkler heads. Our cross-alley neighbor already had to put in a very short rock "barrier" along the alley way to try to keep the trash trucks on the pavement since he's had to replace at least one head due to...

Parking signage: I'd rather see painted curbs vs signs everywhere. My experience with guests visiting is they get confused by the number of signs and park far away (we're one of two homes in our block between an alley and a no-parking bulb-...
