Creating Links
There are a number of methods available for creating links on citiCite. Due to the nature of our parsing engine, it is necessary that you use one of the methods if you want to create a a link internally or externally. Additionally, if you are creating any sort of external link, please be sure to write the link as a fully qualified URL: http://www.domain.com

Creating Internal Links
[profile=9]link directly to a profile[/profile] link directly to a profile
[album=9]link directly to a photo album[/album] link directly to a photo album

Creating External Links
It is important to use the fully qualified URL (http://www.domain.com) when creating external links or the system will only parse them as local links. You will also notice that the external URL image will be displayed (see the links in the table below).

http://www.google.com http://www.google.com http://www.google.com
This is NOT Yahoo This is NOT Yahoo http://www.google.com
example@muellercommunity.com example@muellercommunity.com example@muellercommunity.com

Inserting Images
Similar to inserting links, images can also be inserted directly into text. Please note that unless you are the exclusive owner of the server hosting the image, it is improper internet etiquette to link to someone's photos online. This is commonly referred to as hot-linking.

citiCite will also accept a second parameter after the pipe symbol ( | ) allowing the user to define the size of the image as a percentage. The parameter must be a whole number greater than 0.

Block Text and Quotes
Sometimes it is useful to create specially outlined sections or quote someone's text. For this reason, there are three different methods that can be used to outline text blocks.

[block]Basic block text[/block]
Basic block text
Some quoted text
Quote:
Some quoted text

Some quoted text with a name

Some quoted text with a name

Use double brackets to create a \new page
page links that appear in blue have content associated with them whereas page links that appear in red do not

Double Equals For New Sections

Triple Equals For New Sub-Sections

HTML Tables and Lists

Although citiCite Pages will not accept HTML tags, two groups of tags have been left as exceptions to this rule. Those tags are for TABLES and for LISTS. Please be advised that tables must be designed to W3 specs or it is possible (and very likely) that the rendering of the contents will fail. If you should experience this, simply edit the page again and fix your tabular mistake. If you can not find the mistake, either contact someone who might, or remove the table and leave the information structured inline.

Please note that the current version of citiCite does not allow the non-parsing of tables and lists and hence an example of how to create this them can not be provided. To learn how to create a basic table or list, simply edit the page but 'Cancel Changes'.

Creating a Table
In order to avoid the numerous line breaks that will result from formatting a table, citiCite has a special tag for fixing this problem.
