Mueller Wedge Wednesdays is an informal Wednesday night social gathering on the wedge-shaped park at the corner of Sahm and Antone Streets. It typically occurs on any Wednesday evening with pleasant weather during the non-summer months, as summer Wednesdays are reserved for Splash Nights. Residents bring blankets to sit on and refreshments that either start with a W (wine, watermelon) or are shaped like a wedge (pizza, quesadillas, etc). Adults and babies usually sit on the blankets while children race wagons, fly kites, play football or T-ball, climb stones, or throw rocks down the grate. It's a great way to meet new neighbors or catch up with old ones. It is often initiated by a post to MuellerCommunity and/or an email to the babysitting co-op.
