Mueller Neighborhood Association Meeting

A. Treasurer’s Report: $3238.38

B. Rail in Austin: PIAC supports the rail and encourages a maintenance facility at Mueller which would mean the rail would come to Mueller on a regular basis.
1. Kathy made a motion to support the City of Austin’s rail & maintenance facility
2. Jerry seconded the motion
3. Motion carried

C. PIAC Update: 51st St Visioning Plan, 60ft setback
1. HEB – smaller than Hancock, but similar size
a. Gas station & drive-thru pharmacy
2. PAC discussed business plan
a. Parking garage will face 51st st.
b. Slated for June 2012
3. Now 20% homes are affordable
4. Summer 2012 infrastructure in next phase of homes
5. Windsor Park is concerned about market district and isn’t pleased with the roundabout
6. Neighborhood Night Out feedback: everyone loved the stuff at the hangar

D. Front Porch Flyer
1. Next issues is in early Nov
2. Submit photos for the contest!
a. April event prior to and at the MNA mtg. P
b. Photo auction will benefit the Austin Children’s Shelter

E. Airport Blvd vision plan
1. Upgrade all the way from Lamar to 183 down sout

F. Halloween Carnival – Sat Oct 29th

G. Bylaws revision process is closing:
1. coming to SC next,
2. then to general membership to accept the revised bylaws
