About this Area:
The Mueller Community is a 711-acre (288 ha) Planned Unit Development (PUD) just a few short miles north of downtown.
The project is being developed on the former site of the Robert Mueller Municipal Airport. The new community broke ground in 2007 and is expected to take at least 10 years to finish. The new community is being developed by Catellus, whose parent company is ProLogis.
Just as the August heat in Austin makes one want to cry, many parents will turn teary-eyed sentimental over sending their children to a new elementary school for the first time.
For many families at Mueller, that school will be Maplewood Elementary on 38 1/2 Street, and the families are both excited and anxious for the big day.
So with the most sincere of apologies to the Front Porch Flyer team, we've finally gotten this volume online for everyone!
Pretty sure that most people have already received the printed copy of this one, and again, so sorry about it taking forever to appear online. But once again, it's always nice to have the digital copy available too.
