First meeting on Wednesday, September 16.

Vow! I was out of town for two days and all a sudden I found a total of nine members when I returned home this evening. I am excited and hope more residents will join in the days to come.
Let's start playing Wednesday week, September 16, in the field next to the pool. I'll be there by 6:45 pm. We may start the scrimmage game as early as 7 pm. Because it will become dark after 8 pm., please come early. As the day light is gettig shorter, we will discuss and set the future meeting days and time best for every one at the end of the first get together. See you there.
BTW, please prepare a white and a color T shirt for the purpose of the scrimmage game. If you have a soccer ball and/or some small cones, please bring them with you.

Calling soccer enthusiasts

I love the soccer game. But I have not played in many many years. I moved to the Mueller Community four months ago and noticed that there may be opportunities to kick the ball in certain open fields in the neighborhood. But doing this by myself is no fun. If you like to mess around the ball and not necessarily serious in playing league soccer, please join the group of Soccer Enthusiasts of the Mueller Community. Men and weman are welcome. We may start playing in the open field near the pool when we have enough people to join. We may meet once a week on weekday evenings, says Wednesday around 7 PM. Now the weather has started cooling off a little. We may want to start in a couple of weeks.

Is this group still getting together on Wednesdays to kick it around? Or is the whole thing on hiatus? I just finished moving in and was looking forward to meeting up with this group. Of course waiting for reasonable weather isn't a bad idea either.

Yesterday evening the weather was great. We had a total of six players showed up to play a scrimmage game. We had a lot of fun and a good workout.
Please mark your calendar to come next Wednesday, September 23. Because the day is getting shorter, we want to start at 6:45 pm. See you at Ella Wooten park next Wednesday.

I'm not yet a Mueller resident but I will be probably some time in January. I'd love to kick the ball around a little once I get there. I'm up for watching matches too.
