Mueller Residents,
On behalf of the Pecan Street Project, I would like to invite you to our Kickoff Meeting from 6-7pm on June 30 (Wednesday) at Asbury United Methodist Church (1605 East 38th 1/2 Street, Austin, TX). Brewster McCracken and I will present an overview of our Mueller Demonstration Project, let you know how you can volunteer, and answer any questions you might have.
A big part of what separates us from other smart grid projects around the country is that we are recruiting 1,000 Mueller resident volunteer households that want to be part of a solution--creating a new way to distribute and store electricity in order to maximize value to the customer. If you're interested in learning more about volunteering, email your name, address, and phone number to
iwanttoparticipate@pecanstreetproject.org so that we can create a database of the people interested. The first group of 100 participant households will be called Group A, which is an early adoption data group that will set a baseline for the rest of the project.
See you on the 30th,
Ian Dietrich
