Does anyone else keep getting the wrong mail? Or have your neighbor drop mail at your house because it was delivered to them? This has happened to us regularly for the past year. I am going to talk to the post office, but I thought I might have a stronger argument if many people were having the same issue. Thanks.

The mailboxes at the end of our street still do not have functioning package lockers (they don't have keys), so anytime I receive a package larger than the mailbox, I have to drive down to the post office near the old Home Depot (which isn't open on the weekend!). It has been this way for over a year now.
I would love to have working package lockers!
Thanks for letting me rant,
Grant

Try calling the Super at 458-8947 - has worked in the past when we had problems. Same thing for delivery problems but talk to the carrier first. We used to have the same problem when the regular carrier was replaced for vacation, etc

We get neighbors' mail regularly, about once every month or two. And once had a package of ours delivered to a neighbor with the same street number but two blocks over.

Neighbors have gotten our mail a couple times.
Honestly, I would be happy for the mail man to leave packages that are too big for our box on our porch as long as they don't require signature. Really, I highly doubt all the crap I order from Amazon with super saver shipping is really going to "disappear." But hey, I guess diapers are pretty expensive these days.

About once a week, I either receive a neighbor's mail or a neighbor delivers mail to me. It's a pain to have to do this and seems to be getting worse.
When I moved in there was quite a bit of mail already in my box- all of it incorrectly delivered with postmarks going back months. I gave it to the mailman to put in the correct boxes, but he didn't seem to care.
Let me know if I can help, Terri.
Thanks, Kerry

Happens to us sometimes. Have some sympathy, though. Sure having 16 mailboxes all in one means the carrier only has to do 1/16 the leg work. But it's 16x as confusing!

You can pick up packages on Saturday mornings at that post office. Not sure of exact hours, but you have to ring the bell for service at the pick up window. That's just a band aid on the issue though.

I have never had a problem with this. Maybe because Cal Rodgers is a short street or maybe because I'm the last house in the mailbox... Pretty sure we all have the same carrier.

Mail tends to pile up in my house. There's a chance I'll have something for you when I get to the bottom of the pile, Jill. When I discover a misdelivered piece of mail, I deliver it if I know the person. Otherwise I do what the post office recommends and drop it back in the outgoing mail slot at the mailstop. That doesn't work for packages, though.
