Garden Court takes shape today.

C'mon over to see the spray painted area for the eventual path...it is very meandering.
Alan Muskin said the Phase II Garden Court will be very geometric. I like meandering.

I checked it out--I'm a fan. I'm ready to move in. We're gonna have to have a Garden Court Block Party as well once we all move in!
Maybe we could have a huge neighborhood party for Memorial day...

I'm okay with the meandering (haven't seen it yet), but I hope it doesn't infringe on the openness of the center part.

I was worried too when I read it--ie. how can you play football/soccer/ball in general when a sidewalk is going through...
No worries it may infringe a little on the boundries a little but not enough to matter in a pick up game type atmosphere.
I'm a fan for now.

man, they really cut into the openness of the field in the middle. I'm not digging it too much. I'll have to reserve final judgment until the boards are taken away and the path finished, but I wish the middle was more open.
However, it almost seems like I'm complaining about eating a free dinner thats prime rib and not filet mignon.

I was suprised too. I thought there would be more garden and less court. I heard that it wasn't going to be concrete, but by the looks of those forms I'm guessing you'll want to stock up on Band-Aids and Bactine.

From my understanding, there will be sidewalks from our porches to the path at which time it turns into gravel. At least we can do sidewalk chalk some.

Huh--I just saw the spray paint outline--I'll have to check it again.

It looks like you guys all have a good 10-15ft. of sidewalk to reach the path (which is also paved concrete it turns out....meaning your yards are actually a pretty substantial portion of the court. Either way, it should be a stunning vista......in about 15 years when the trees grow.
