This Wednesday, April 2nd at approximately 7:30 a.m. a helicopter will be used to lift HVAC equipment onto the roof of the Home Depot building currently under construction at 51st Street at I-35. The activity should not disrupt traffic or access around the site but the helicopter may be louder and fly lower than is commonly seen in the area. Austin emergency services, Dell Children’s Hospital and STAR Flight have been notified of this activity. The work is expected to take approximately one hour.
