So we are looking for a handyman that could do a few things around the house, like reconnect the dryer vent, fix a wooden toy box and adjust our shelves (needs some holes drilled in them), not big stuff, but stuff we can't manage to find the time to do with our growing brood. Any recommendations of someone good (and affordable) are greatly appreciated.
We've yearned for dimmers on several lights for many a day...one call, and they were done. We can't speak highly enough of Joaquin Garcia...he knows how to do everything! He is a skilled carpenter, electrician, craftsperson and so much more. We are excited for him to finish out our undercounter lighting. Reliable and trustworthy...
I used Thomas from House Medic handyman services this week to switch out a light fixture which included moving the fixture over some, patching the dry wall and texturing. He did a quality job very efficiently. I would Highly recommend House Medic for any handyman services that you might have. It is a national franchise, but locally owned, so they are professional, well organized, and bonded.
I can heartily endorse HouseMedic of Austin. Talked to Marcus about having some guys install washer/dryer pedestals and they showed up on time, had great rapport, and finished the job in less than the estimated time.
I plan on using these guys for future projects that I'd prefer done right the first time.
Any recent handyman recommendations? I'm looking for a jack/jill of all trades who can do minor electrical/wiring, dry wall, simple carpentry, flooring and tiling, and is willing to show me how to do some of these things as well as basic home maintenace. Thanks, Doug
I just hired Corey Ferguson (recommended by another Mueller neighbor). Corey fixed my squeaky stairs today and was very reasonable. His phone is 512-588-3493. His company is Blue Hammer.
