Hi Mueller Community!
If you are a local business owner wanting to reach an East Austin audience or look for a way to support your local school, the Maplewood Elementary Student Directory for 2011 is starting production. The directory helps raise funds for the school, and your advertising helps send kids on field trips, provides every child with one brand new book a year, and gives teachers stipends for the supplies they otherwise would purchase out of pocket.
Advertising brings you in direct contact with neighbors who shop, eat and appreciate your local services. Your presence in the directory means more than you know. Parents, teachers and staff recognize your commitment to your community school and we value your inclusion.
If you own a business or just want to contribute to a sense of community spirit (be creative), we welcome your support via an ad in the school directory. The directory is delivered to about 500 teachers, staff and Maplewood families.
For this year's school year, we are running business card size adds in black and white:
*Business card size – 2” x 3 ½” $40.00
*If you would like us to do your ad design/production, please add an additional $25
All ads are black and white and can be submitted in the following formats: jpg, pdf, eps. The deadline for submitting ad artwork is 10/1/2011, and ad artwork should be submitted to
MaplewoodDirectory@gmail.com.

A little bit about Maplewood: We had a banner year – literally! – come see our new banner on the front of the school, a Texas Education Agency Recognized campus! Last year Maplewood also received the Texas Department of State Health Services’ Award for Excellence in Texas School Health for our revival of the Maplewood Salad Bowl Project, where kids are growing their own veggies, harvesting them, and enjoying them at a school lunch twice a year.
