What if any are the restrictions for small garden sheds.? Does anyone have any knowledge of this? I see nothing in the guidlines. And it's not a decoration of modification to the structure of my lot or house. I'm looking at a very small footprint of 8x3 where is could either go in my side yard or alley side...probably made of cedar. Probably paint/stain it the same as the fence or house.

I built one on the narrow side of our lot.
The homeowner covenant does include sheds and structures visible from the street. So you will need to get POA Modification Committee approvals. The only restriction they applied to mine was it had to be a minimum of 31 inches from the property line.

Thanks Joe! Off hand...what does the homeowner covenant say about sheds...other than the 31" from the property line? I can't put my hands on my copy. Material or size restrictions? Asthetics...Like do I have to paint it to match house? So I have to pay upfront the POA modification fee to just add a shed?
Thanks for the info!

I submitted my construction plans with my application. I had already planned to match the house in paint. We did have to come back with a plat of the lot showing the location of the shed. (It's really more of a hutch than a shed.)
Their only stipulation was that it could not be any closer than 31 inches from the lot line. I think that is more according to city code and not in the covenants.
I think danx111 has attached the covenant citation for you.

thanks for the links! I see it needs approval...just doesn't give any specifics on what this temporary structure needs to be for approval. Where can I find this Master Design Guildeline document?

Garden is the beautiful place where people go in their leisure time and spend quality time there. Hence I am going to suggest you about online assignment writing service that has much to share with us.
