Mueller going Solar!
by Shanda Sansing
on August 14th, 2009
We at Texas Solar Power Company wanted to offer public congratulations to your neighbors who are a GO for SOLAR:
David Frank on Pinckney: 7000 watts
Michael Glasscock on Tom Miller: 5775 Watts
Glen Hagler on Tom Miller: 8750 Watts
Robin Jordan on Scales: 8750 Watts
Randy Ramirez on Gochman: 7000 Watts
Roberto Rodriguez on Pinckney: 4725 Watts
Rod Ruoff on Pinkcney: 8750 Watts
Joe Zabreznik on Pinckney: 8750 Watts
Which all adds up to just shy of 60 kW. I'd say that's a pretty good start towards your neighborhood megawatt goal!*
Shanda, Roger & Vincent
Texas Solar
*There are others as well, both prior and upcoming. We'll keep a tally of our projects and report periodically.

Thankis, Shanda.
Could you give us the scoop on the approximate installed "size" of the Mueller Sunflowers?
Published annual production estimates vary widely from 15,000 to 35,000 kWh.

Yeah, but so does book club and we find a way to do both.
I'll hit the SC meeting and then hit the Solar meeting.... a typical Mueller Tuesday and a sign of things to come in our growing neighborhood.

Great meeting! We got a good insight into all the various reasons why people chose different suppliers. Thanks for all the well researched information and hospitality.

http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/energy/environment/2010-04-12-rooftopsolar12_CV_N.htmAn article on another way rooftop solar is being deployed by the utilities instead of the end users. As a side note, Catellus is a subsidiary of ProLogis one of the people who own the rooftops being rented to Con Edison.
