they are only open until 7pm, so we would have to get there right after work. but there are several restaurants we could go to afterwards. embellish is in the triangle between lamar and guadalupe. here's some info from an email i sent them...You are allowed to bring in your own food and beverages but there is a 5% service fee for doing so. And just so you know, we do offer complimentary glasses of wine and mimosas to customers. All of our pricing information is available on our website (http://www.embellishnails.com). We currently offer mani’s, pedi’s, waxing and facials.
I'm in! I have really been wanting to check out Embellish. We could go have dinner after at Sago which is a really good new Mexican restaurant in the Triangle.
looks like we can do an after hours party also. here's the info i got. kinda complicated and we have to know FOR SURE who is coming. What’s a party? • Embellish considers any group of 5 or more guests, booked by one host, to be a party • Parties held during normal business hours will be considered non-private: o During non-private events, we will seat your party together depending on the individual services requested; however, if your party is not large enough to take up all available service spots, other guests may be seated near you o If you plan to bring in food or specialty drinks, a 5% accommodation fee will be added to each guest’s service (or to the host’s bill if desired); this covers set-up, the use of our serving dishes, paper plates, napkins & utensils, beverages and clean-up o We will also be happy to help you arrange catering for your event for a nominal fee o A 20% gratuity for our therapists will be included on each guest’s check (or on the host’s bill if desired)
• Parties held outside of normal business hours will be considered private; the entire salon will be reserved for your group and the boutique will be closed to the public: o We charge $65 per therapist per hour. We will determine the number of nail therapists required based on the services requested. o This flat rate includes all nail treatments, gratuity, salon rental, a salon hostess and salon clean-up. o Therapists clock in 15 minutes before the scheduled party start time and clock out as they complete the requested treatments. The flat rate for salon rental (after all nail therapists have clocked out is $75 per hour). All rates are charged to the nearest ¼ hour.
Payment and Cancellation Policies • We will confirm the number of guests and their requested services within three days of your event; after the event has been confirmed no changes may be made to the planned services • The hostess may pay for the guests or each guest may pay individually on the day of the party • Guests should arrive at least 15 minutes before services are scheduled to begin. Our services are scheduled back-to-back, with no room for tardiness. To stay on schedule, we will have to abbreviate the services of those guests who are late, and the host will not be refunded the costs of the abbreviated services. • If a guest is a “no show” for the party, the guest’s service fee will be added to the host’s bill.
