We are very interested! Both my kids would be game for swim lessons (under 5 and under 2). I need swim lessons so my husband won't become a widower as a result of the first leg (swim) of Danskin.

Swim Team!!!!!!!!!!

My older girls used to swim on one in our old 'hood and it was such a wonderful experience!! I have been trying to find something to replace it around here, but haven't been really happy with the other teams we have found. We would LOVE to have one in Mueller! I will help out in any way get it started. I looked into it last summer a little bit. Contacted the other circuits, but couldn't get very far. Do we try and join another group? Most of them are farther north or south or west. I know the coach of the Balcones Blue Wave... their pool is not that far, but they do swim against as far as Forest Creek in way east RR. I know there are several other kids in elementary age and up who would also do swim team here if we had one. Plus, we might pull some from surrounding 'hoods as well.

My younger two would do the swim lessons for sure.

We are looking for swim lessons! We told Gabe he needed to take them before the pool opened this summer.

Our two older ones would love to be on a swim team too! Sam is in 4th garde and Libby is in 2nd grade. I am more than happy too to help organize but have no idea how it would work since we have never been on a swim team! :) Let me know what I can do -- calls, plan, etc...

And swim lessons, we'll be ready for those again in about 2-3 years with the baby, but not yet, she is only 5 mos.

Have we met yet? My older two are in 4th and 2nd as well.

Swim team is awesome! Great excercise for the kids, great way to compete both as a group and individually, lots of ways to improve so kids constantly feel like they are working towards something, and it's a great community bonding experience for the kids and the adults involved. I cannot speak highly enough about this sport.

Again, I'm totally on board. Willing to make this a priority for this summer ~

Absolutely...swim lessons is a fantastic idea. And our 3 1/2 year old won't be far behind yours Natalie...right? You know...we keep getting reminded she is closer to 4 now. Yikes! She's growing up too fast!!!

Felicia, would love to meet you and your kids, I don't think we have met thus far. I have a 5 mos. old at home and am home most days - am open to getting together soon! Let me know...

We're looking for Zachary to continue swim lessons, too. YMCA Town Lake last year was good, but Mueller is much closer now :-)

Maybe there's an individual with all the Red Cross teaching credentials who might serve our beautiful pool and community? Hmmm...I have a co-worker that used to teach kids...
