Does anyone in the neighborhood subscribe to the print edition of the NY Times and have it delivered to their house? I cannot get them to deliver my paper since the neighborhood doesn't show up on Google Maps or Mapquest. I have called, emailed, threatened, etc.

Call the American Statesman circulation and ask to speak to a distribution manager. The same folks that deliver the AAS deliver the NYTimes, I think. They can probably help.

I get the New York Times, but believe me it wasn't easy making it happen. Calling the Statesman as has been recommended was a good first step, but then dealing with the New York Times due to problems thereafter was no picnic. I'd get the paper for a couple of days, then no paper for a couple of days, then a paper, then no paper. (I think part of the problem was there are different carriers for weekdays and weekends, and I live in a particularly hard-to-find-house - one of the garden homes.) To complicate things, the Times has some sort of wacky software that has to be updated in two places or it doesn't work right... long story short, after about 3 weeks of infuriation, everything got straightened out and I haven't missed a paper now in about two months. So, yes, call the Statesman and enlist their help in getting you on the delivery radar - and then prepapre for some possible short-term snags.Or maybe they've got it all working now that they've been coming here a while. (If that were true, though, you'd think they'd know about our existence when you call to subscribe.) Good luck.

We had similar problems getting the NY Times, but worked with the Statesman to get things resolved. It's been about 3 weeks now (knock on wood!) and we have no complaints.

I have had problems with NY Times deliveries at two different places in Austin. Once at a rental in Hyde Park and now at an apartment in South Austin. I know the Statesman is in charge of deliveries and in my more paranoid moments I think the Statesman conspires to keep the NY Times out of my hands so I am forced to read their crappy paper for the five minutes that it holds my interest. I am a future resident so I appreciate y'all laying the groundwork for us future Mueller NYT subscribers.

Well supposedly they've figured it out, but it was very painful. I called the American Statesman circulation department and they had not received any change of address information from the New York Times. This was after many assurances from the Times that someone from the Austin distribution center would call me to set up delivery. Which of course no one ever did. So I called the Times back for about the tenth time and told them to pick up the stupid phone and call the Statesman and give them my new address. I don't know what happened but they finally told me that delivery would start Monday. Only took 3 weeks of constant badgering.
