Their modem fails and we are supposed to wait 4 days (or more) for an appointment where a 4-hour window is given?? As if people don't live busy lives...and can sit at home waiting for someone to possibly show up within a 4-h window.

Just wondering if anyone else's service has failed, and whether for those who opted for this through the (is it the Mueller Alliance, or neighborhood association, or what?) "alliance" have gotten any help in dealing with Time Warner?

At least, when the technician finally shows up, do they know what they are doing?

There is a TW service center in the Hancock Center. It is located past HEB and I believe next to Jason's Deli. You should be able to exchange it yourself there today.

Due to Mueller neighbors and responses received on this blog, we got action sooner than expected. Nice fellow from TW came by and it turns out that, as he figured out, nearby construction on our neighbor's house had led to a wire being cut.

So--not on TW at all in terms of responsibility, and the 1-day earlier response than our scheduled Thursday afternoon 1-5 pm time slot was helpful; we have working internet now.
