Such an adorable kitty that followed us around with its tiny meow. I hate not knowing if it is lost or owned by someone around there. Does someone know who it belongs to? Collars are a good idea for cats that are left out so people who can't stand to see a stray don't have to go home and worry about it all day.
I see this kitty too. It has a sibling that has the same long hair, but looks calico. The tabby let me pet it, but the other one is very skittish. I wonder if someone dropped them off in our neighborhood or if they were born to one of the ferals living here?
She's been hanging around Cal Rodgers. I'm trying to locate an owner - she seems to have had one at some point. She's not feral, if anything she's desperate to be petted (once she gets over her initial shyness).
So the random kitty is not chipped and also not spayed. My vet thinks she's about 7 months old. She's a sweetheart. A little shy when you see her outdoors, but once you make contact she's a little lover. I'm still looking for her owner (or potential new homes).
She's probably getting fixed at the end of the week, before I have her and four kittens to rescue.
This is the one I saw with another cat the same size/age. I gave them food (it was the night of a walk/run in the neighborhood; they were both scared) and thought they'd be back for more if they were homeless, but haven't seen them since. Wish I could adopt her. She seems sweet. My male cat would not be happy though, and she probably wouldn't like being chased by a 1 year old.
I brought her in last week when it got really cold. I haven't seen her friend. I might try putting out a live trap just in case it's around and really scared.
I will say that she's currently in a house with several other cats - none of whom will tolerate being chased - and she's getting along pretty well.
