The holidays are fast approaching, which means it’s time to once again reignite an Austin tradition from the 1960s with the NOEL lights atop the former Mueller control tower. Please join us for the 5th annual Tower Lighting on Wednesday, Dec. 1 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the lighting ceremony around 7 p.m. The celebration includes a Mueller activity book for children, a photo booth and holiday music and treats for the entire family.
New this year:
(1) The event will take place next to the tower near Berkman and Antone streets. With limited street parking available, Mueller residents are encouraged to walk to the event so surrounding neighbors can more easily attend and enjoy the festivities.
(2) Catellus is asking all attendees to donate new or gently used books to the Austin Children’s Shelter. A representative will be available to collect the books while providing information about the Shelter and its volunteer needs.
We hope you and your family can make it out for what will surely be a festive event and a great way to start the holiday season.
