I hired the Doug Gorton Painting Company to paint two rooms in my home. Two other painters recommended to me did not bother to return my calls. When I called Doug Gorton, the phone was answered immediately, and the estimator showed up on schedule. On Thursday, two painters from this company arrived on time and did a wonderful job on my two rooms. First off, they spent some time covering the floors with heavy brown paper which they taped to the baseboards. They taped off around the woodwork and even taped the electrical outlets to avoid getting paint on them. They very meticulously painted both rooms, carefully edging along the ceiling and the baseboards. I have used professional painters in the past, but this was the best painting job I have ever had done. One of my rooms is two-stories, which is why I chose not to do my own painting ;-) They cleaned the window on the second level and even changed the batteries in the smoke detector on the high ceiling! I will definitely use this company again and recommend them to anyone who wants a top quality paint job done.
