Our basketball goal was stolen today from the alley between Lawless and Scales. It happened sometime between 10:00 am and 4:30 pm.

It is a big, full sized goal. I reported it to the police. Please let me know if you saw anything.

Ashley thank you for posting, sorry this happened. Because of your note, we had planned to further secure our basketball goal today but it was stolen sometime last night from the Scales alley near Mattie. To move this type of goal took organization and planning - the base was filled with sand and weighed approx 450 lbs. Would have taken several people to lift and place in the back of a truck. We have reported the theft to 311 - neighbors, please let us know if you saw anything.

I believe I live right behind you. I've just spoken to both of my neighbors regarding the theft. Unfortunately, we didn't hear or see anything, which is the scary part, considering we live in such close proximity. I'm really sorry that this happened! I've always felt relatively safe here but from now on I will definitely be even MORE cautious and aware of my surroundings. If I hear of anything, I will let you know. Sorry I don't have an helpful info for you all.
