We are frequently finding dead birds/dead bird parts in our back yard. It's very likely that a cat or some other critter is dropping them in our yard. Has anyone else has or had the same issue? If so do you have any recommendations on how to stop this from happening? We got cat/critter repellant and used it in out yard but it doesn't seem to be a long term solution. Any suggestions will help immensely.

Not that this in any way is going to help with your problem but I walk dogs at the Mueller often. On many occasions I have seen hawks munching down on pigeons in peoples yards and on their porches. This could be what is leaving the bird parts.

A cat would have to leap over your fence to do this. Not easy to do, even for a cat. They're more likely to bring their prey home.

Is it possible a bird is crashing into your windows? They may fly away after a crash, but often die later from their injuries.

A small, carefully maintained campfire will reduce most activity inside your yard at night. I had this problem a few years ago with coyotes/critters bringing the bodies of small dogs/goats into my yard in Elgin. I built a small fire and maintained it carefully throughout each night for 2 months and had no problems during that time.

Unfortunately, I eventually become so exhausted from lack of sleep that I was forced to seek medical treatment and had to terminate my efforts. The coyote/critters came back pretty quickly after that, along with their vaguely disturbing deposits, but at least for 61 days I was able to live small animal bone free. Of course, eventually I became so frustrated with the situation that I decided to move. That's how I wound up here.

I'm sorry to learn that this problem seems to have followed me to Mueller. While I was in Elgin, a Nicaraguan broma suggested that it was a curse suffered upon me for past sins. I had hoped that wasn't the case.

We believe that it is an animal because we find the dead birds in parts and not as whole. Also we have seen cats walking on our fence. It appears that we have to continue with of the shelf repellants
